The RGMC has been around for at least 20 years, when a group of gay men got together and formed what was then called the GayMoor Club. In the early days, about 30 to 40 men would socialize by holding potlucks at their homes. Over the years the group has expanded to over 150 men and with it, the desire to hold a variety of events throughout the year.
We hold six or more events a year. Some of these include guest speakers, picnics and barbecues, pool parties, film showings, theater outings, and both virtual and actual tours of locations of interest to our club. Every June, we partner with the Rossmoor LGBTQ+ Alliance to celebrate Rossmoor Pride.
